Non-Porsche Cars

Required Safety Equipment by Performance Equipment Points
0-199 Performance Equipment Points
- Approved Helmet*
- Seat belts
- Open-ended steel lug nuts for cars with non-stock wheel spacers that use lug nuts and wheel studs✢
- Roll bar or cage is required for open cars (except Boxster, 996, 997, 991 & 992 Cabriolets)
200-399 Performance Equipment Points
- Equipment for 0-199 Performance Equipment Points
- Fire extinguisher
- 5 or 6 point harness and an approved Head & Neck restraint system
- Roll bar or cage is required for all open cars (including Boxster, 996, 997, 991 & 992 Cabriolets)
400+ Performance Equipment Points
- Equipment for 0-399 Performance Equipment Points
- Roll bar or cage is required for all cars
- Open-ended steel lug nuts are required for all cars that use lug nuts and wheel studs✢
- Tow hook or strap is required for all cars
- Approved Driving suits, gloves, socks and boots are required
* See the Zone 8 Rules for approved helmet types. Attendees typically use a SNELL SA helmet of the current or prior SNELL standard. For driving season 2026 this is SNELL SA2020 and SNELL SA2025.
✢In these cases, cars with lug bolts should be converted to wheel studs and lug nuts
